Cutsmart believes in ensuring our planet for generations to come, that's why we've invested in sustainable and environmentally friendly manufacturing techniques. Within our factory our bespoke panels are made to order, using the latest manufacturing techniques, to ensure that our panels are nested within our computer software, thus aid in the reduction of waste material. All waste material that is produced is then collected and recycled.

Cutsmart produces around 40% of our own electricity through 100 solar PV panels located on our factory roof.

We focus on partnering with suppliers who have similar sustainability beliefs and a passion for caring for our environment.Our most popular board manufacturers and suppliers, equally focus on promoting Sustainable Forestry - wood that is responsibly sourced, ensuring it is 100% verified and controlled according to ISO 38200 standards. They also continue to use their waste by recycling wood in their production of wood-based material, which can then be sourced as furniture, pallets or packaging materials. To round off their green credentials Egger in particular, converts their heat into green energy within their own biomass power plant.

Durat is our Solid Surfaces materials provider and is one of the oldest solid surface manufacturers in Europe, who set off on their mission in 1990 to create a sustainable material that combined recycling and design. Durant have created a product that has over over 300 vibrant colours and the option to have a custom tint with either a Matt or polish finish all made from recycled post-production plastics, creating a seamless vibrant surface, Due to the Solid nature of the surface, it can be refinished, making it an ideal surface for high use areas in places like schools, Cafes, Retail outlet, hospitals etc.
