  • Standard MDF

Standard MDF is constructed consistently throughout the panel which makes it easy to cut, machine or route, simultaneously reducing the burden on your tools. This makes it perfect for furniture making and other creative applications. In addition, its smooth surface allows for a range of options with regards to lamination, veneering, bonding and painting. Standard MDF is suitable for general, non-structural purposes in dry conditions. There is a full range of thicknesses available from 2mm to 50mm and at varying board sizes.

  • Moisture Resistant

Moisture Resistant MDF behaves much the same to Standard MDF in terms of effortless machining and consistent surface quality. Where it differs from the more Standard product is that it is tested to be suitable in humid conditions where it can often be exposed to moisture and occasional wetting. This makes the product ideal for applications where moisture can fluctuate such as in kitchens and bathrooms. Moisture resistant boards are usually (but not always) dyed green for identification purposes.

  • Fire Resistant

Fire Retardant MDF is suitable for use in internal dry conditions for non-structural applications; ideal for applications such as wall linings, partitions, display panels and so on. The product is available in a range of thicknesses with a Euroclass B fore rating in accordance with European Standards. The boards also carry 60-minute (Euroclass B) fire ratings under BS 476: Part 22: 1987 for use as an internal wall partition.

  • OSB

Oriented Strand Board is a widely used, versatile structural wood panel. Manufactured from waterproof heat-cured adhesives and rectangularly shaped wood strands that are arranged in cross-oriented layers. OSB is an engineered wood panel that shares many of the strength and performance characteristics of plywood.

  • Birch Plywood

Birch plywood is a well-known, good quality utility plywood panel that has a very good strength to weight ratio, and is relied upon to be stable under various ambient moisture conditions. Available in various grade with the highest quality being B/BB. A popular choice for architects and designers for wall panelling and an alternative to veneered boards.

  • External Plywood

External Plywood is characterised by its excellent strength, stiffness and resistance to creep which makes it suitable for wall structures and heavy-duty floors. It has a higher density, strength and biological durability over other species.

  • Oak

European Oak is one of the most popular wood veneers, versatile and varied in use and appearance. The colour of the heartwood varies from light brown yellow to brown, and the sapwood is a little clearer and is clearly separated. Its fibre is straight and the grain is thick. Indeed, growth rings are visible and they are very marked.

  • Ash

Ash veneer is very decorative due to its colour and texture, and its widely used in decoration of interiors. It is a very expressive and decorative veneer that will provide a strong and unique scope every space or designs you work with. The wood colour is white pearled, that sometimes can become rosy. Its grain texture is severely striped or patterned. Its unprocessed natural colour is of a shining yellowish white.

  • Walnut

This is a sliced veneer and is greyish to brownish-black with well-defined growth pattern. Smooth textured surface which finishes well. Like all Walnut species there is a historical allegiance and a feeling of class associated with it. Widely available in the market today and has become very popular in recent years with the Marine industry.
